Green Manganese Technologies, a critical minerals company developing a low-carbon process to recover high-purity manganese from local sources including mining tailings and industrial waste, has relocated its operations to the RecycLiCo Battery Materials Innovation Centre in Delta, British Columbia. Green Manganese Technologies is among the first companies to establish operations at the newly opened facility.

The RecycLiCo Innovation Centre is a purpose-built facility designed to support the advancement and commercialization of critical mineral processing technologies. The site integrates bench-scale laboratory capabilities with pilot plant infrastructure, enabling companies to move efficiently from concept validation to pilot-scale demonstration within a single, fully equipped environment.

Green Manganese Technologies will use the Centre's bench-scale laboratory to continue process development and flowsheet validation while preparing for the deployment of its first pilot plant on the same site.

The Innovation Centre's industrial-grade infrastructure, high-power electrical capacity, and in-house analytical capabilities provide the technical foundation Green Manganese Technologies requires at this stage of development. The Centre operates within a fully permitted environment for hydrometallurgical process testing removing the regulatory and capital burden of establishing a new process facility and allowing the team to concentrate on scale-up execution.

"Joining the RecycLiCo Innovation Centre is the right move for where we are as a company," said Alexey Demykin, CEO of Green Manganese Technologies. "We have the development infrastructure we need today, and a direct path to running a pilot plant on the same site. The permits are in place. That removes months from our timeline and lets us put our energy into the technology."

"We are very pleased to welcome Green Manganese Technologies to the RecycLiCo Innovation Centre," said Richard Sadowsky, CEO of RecycLiCo Battery Materials Inc. "The Centre is built to give critical minerals companies the infrastructure to move quickly from development to demonstration. Green Manganese Technologies is exactly the kind of company this facility was designed for, and we look forward to supporting their progress toward pilot plant operation."

The next step for Green Manganese Technologies is pilot-scale demonstration — validating the manganese recovery process at scale and advancing toward commercial supply for North American steel producers and battery manufacturers.
